2024 – The Year of Mark.

As the early church spread and realized that the end time was no time soon, a need arose to start writing on its faith in Jesus, the Risen Christ, the Son of God and Mary. Paul was the first to write his letters on faith in the Risen Lord, to the wider Church, beyond...

Through the Desert God Leads us to Freedom

Dear brothers and sisters! When our God reveals himself, his message is always one of freedom: “I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery” (Ex 20:2). These are the first words of the Decalogue given to Moses on Mount...

Sundays 10–11 AM

Regarding the 10 AM Mass.

Assumption Cathedral parish is an active and alive parish within the Archdiocese of Bangkok.  Part of its weekly schedule and life is the Sunday 10am mass, celebrated in English.  Language has given rise to a regular worshipping community, which has grown in its sense of identity.

The 10am mass, faith community very much belongs to the cathedral parish, while it has grown as an active, faith community, generating its life, knowing its specific pastoral needs within a diverse community, and exerting its efforts to help others.

This website is a testimony to this specific community within the Cathedral parish, as a vital part of that parish.  It is a way we have to communicate with each other within the Cathedral parish and to reach out to those in Bangkok, seeking an English speaking, Catholic worshipping community.

We are not a parish.
